Summer Vacation 2017

In early April, Bob said "Hey what are you doing this summer?"  "Not sure.  Why?" I replied. He explained he was going to buy a car from his brother-in-law in Harper's Ferry, WV.  He wondered if I wanted to go on a road trip.  OF COURSE! I suggested that we see as many baseball parks (games) along the way. As an avid baseball fan, he agreed.  Thus started this summer vacation road trip.

Leaving Phoenix...

Our flight was an early one so I decided to stay up as late as possible so that I would be exhausted on the plane, thus sleeping the majority of the way.  It worked like a charm.  I was so tired I began to fall asleep during take-off.  Actual in-the-air-take-off falling asleep.

We arrived earlier than expected, but the luggage took a fair amount of time at Dulles IAP, so our ride was right on time.  We stopped to eat at Potbelly sandwich shop (it's not bad) and made our way to our home base for the first half of our trip, Nick and Jen's house.

With the majority of our travels ahead, the picture taking was light for today.  We will venture to Philadelphia tomorrow to see the Phillies and see some amazing fireworks.  I am excited to see the Nation's first capital on Independence Day. Enjoy and see you tomorrow.

So much fun! I'm so excited for you and your travels ahead. Of course you already have awesome photos. My grandma was a huge fan of barn pictures. She would absolutely love yours. Enjoy taking it all in. Cheers!
